New Jersey Pride at Long Island Lizards-This will be the second straight weekend these two teams have played each other. Long Island beat the Pride 16-9 last weekend in New Jersey. They will play on Long Island in a Thursday night game that starts at 7pm EST, available on local TV. The Lizards have a five game winning streak, while the Pride are 2-4. Lizards should pick up a victory.
Barrage at Boston Cannons-Another Thursday night 7:30pm EST game that can be seen on local cable channels. The Barrage (4-3) are coming off a big win over the Washington Bayhawks, Boston is 4-2 and has won three straight games. They should be tough to beat since they acquired Sean Morris, AJ Shannon, and Paul Rabil, plus Mike Powell was injured for the first month of the season. Cannons should get the win.
San Francisco Dragons at Denver Outlaws-Just as you can expect the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys to play a home game every Thanksgiving. You can expect the Denver Outlaws to host a game every July 4th, at least since starting last season. Its a good tradition since Denver can usually fill Invesco field for big games. They had 19,000 last year and should do well this year. They are playing the league basement team San Francisco Dragons at 9pm EST. Game will be on ESPN2 next Tuesday at 3:30pm EST. Denver struggled against Chicago last weekend, but should be pumped to play in a big game and get the win.
Los Angeles Riptide at Chicago Machine-The lone Saturday game on the schedule has the Riptide traveling to The Windy City for a 4:30pm EST game, TV availible on several regional channels. Both teams had big wins last weekend. The Riptide beat Rochester on the road 15-10, and Chicago beat Denver at home 16-13. Both teams have some talent. Los Angeles has the experience, but Chicago has rookies coming of a National Championship in Steven Brooks and Mike Leveille. I will go with a Riptide victory in this one.
