So I was wrong in my prediction that the Eastern Conference would beat the Western Conference. As like most other all star games, this one was high scoring and did not have a lot of defense. The final score ended up being a ridonkulous 31-15 in favor of the Western Conference. The big stars of the game were Ryan Powell, who had six goals and one assist for seven points. Other big goal scorers for the Western Conference included Eric Martin, Kevin Leveille, and Steven Brooks. The Eastern Conference was lead by Merrick Thompson with four goals and four others with a pair of goals.
My favorite part of the night was the contests, with the exception of the 2pt shot contest, which I found to be a little lame. But I really enjoyed both the fastest shot contest, won by Anthony Kelly of the LA Riptide with a 109 mph shot, and the freestyle competition was awesome. That was won by Chazz Woodson, but Joe Walters and Stephen Berger definitely had some creativity.
Denver was a good host, with about 10,000 fans. Body by Jake also made an appearence. My only complaint was there was too much scoring! Not a realistic lacrosse game.

“My only complaint was there was too much scoring!”
I’ve never heard someone complain about “too much scoring.”
