Deadspin, the best general sports blog around, showed this clip from last night’s Cannons vs Bayhawks game. Just so you know, Mike Powell did not have any goals, but he did have two assists in this game. I would cut him some slack, since it was his first game in a month. Plus he was probably thinking of the Villain’s Trust set list since they were playing in a few hours.
I am honestly not a fan of cheerleaders in general, especially in lacrosse. Not that I was happy to see someone get hurt. I think girls and women should participate in sports, not sit on the sidelines an yell.
