MLL has been doing some renovating with its uniforms this season, mainly the helmets. Several teams have changed the main color of their helmet the past couple seasons including: Long Island, Rochester, San Fransisco and Washington. Chicago got rid of the yellow on their helmets, and Boston has lessened the amount of blue on theirs.
Now many college teams go with multiple colored helmets during the season, including Hopkins, Duke, Navy, Virginia, Towson, and Syracuse. So maybe the MLL should try that. Maybe not like the NHL who just switches to a white helmet when they wear white jerseys, but reversing the colors on the helmets occasionally, Like these examples:
